I am a semi-professional photographer based in a smallish Sussex market town with approaching 50 years experience using film since I was given a ubiquitous Kodak Box Brownie by my father at age 6.

Being of a pre-computer/playstation generation, my formative years were spent outside exploring the local countryside where my passion for the natural environment was nurtured. This passion led me the study of the natural world and to a Bachelors degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia. My deep understanding of the physical processes that form and are at work in the landscape is fundamentally entwined with my photographic endeavours.
