The Triple Buttress
Coire Mhic Fhearchair and the Triple Buttress of Beinn Eighe
Coire Mhic Fhearchair is one of Scotlands most magnificent mountain corries, hidden behind the north-west shoulder of Beinn Eighe in Torridon.
The Triple Buttress, a playground for rock climbers, looms above the corrie lochan amid this awe-inspiring mountain theatre.
I've been here in winter when everything has been coated in ice and it is even more spectacular but that was 30 years ago with a Nikkormat FT2 and Kodachrome 64 so a return visit is on my plans.
